Graffiti Radio on-air host from Jan. 2009-May 2012, J.J. Booker returned to Graffiti Radio in the summer of 2013 to his position behind the microphone during the weeknight program, "After Hours." Each night includes a look at the week's Featured New Album in its entirety, the Local Focus at 8pm, and "Off the Shelf"--the show's newest feature showcasing the influences and precursors to Graffiti Radio's favorite artists, at 9:30pm. In addition to his work at Graffiti Radio, J.J. is also a Sound Engineer based in Philadelphia, as well as an active musician and free-lance music journalist. In his spare time he can typically be found searching for vinyl and any song as good as The Flamingos' "I Only Have Eyes for You." He is yet to be successful.
Graffiti Radio is proud to present Hometown Heroes, a weekly program spotlighting the best music from the Delaware Valley! Hosted by Mark Rogers, Hometown Heroes is broadcast every Sunday, 8-10pm. We play the music and provide information about where you can see these bands perform live, how to get their music, and how to contact them. We'll even bring some of them into the studio to perform live on the air.
Sabrina has been the host of Fresh Picked for 4 years, and has finally convinced her bosses to put her on the air full time. She's new to Wilmington, and is always interested in where to find the best pizza, dive bars and boutique shopping. Tune in every weekday from 3pm to 7pm, and be sure to listen in at 4pm for "Underground Breaks Ground", a segment that spotlights great, undiscovered artists. Sabrina is still your host of Fresh Picked, every Friday and Sunday night at 7 where she brings you the latest music out of the indie scene.
